Public appeal in search for missing Blandford man

Officers searching for a missing man from Blandford are appealing for information from the public to help find him.

Joseph Anthony Farrell, aged 42, was last seen in Southampton on Thursday 5 November 2020. From officers’ enquiries, it is believed he has since returned to Dorset but there have been no further sightings of him.

Joseph is described as white, around five feet nine inches tall and of slim build with ginger hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a bright orange hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and brown boots with orange laces.

Detective Inspector Sarah Gillion, of Dorset Police, said: “Joseph requires medication that we do not believe he has access to so we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and are keen to locate him to make sure he is all right.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“I would also urge Joseph if you see this appeal to please make contact with us or your family as we just want to ensure that you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Joseph’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55200169557.
