Officers searching for missing Bridport man Alexander Twigger are pleased to confirm he has been found safe and well.

Alexander, aged 20, was reported missing at 4.15am today, Thursday 16 August 2018, having last been seen at his home address at around 8pm yesterday, Wednesday 15 August 2018.

Extensive searches were carried out and Alexander has now been located in the Bridport area.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

 

Officers searching for a missing man from Bridport are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Alexander Twigger, aged 20, was last seen at his home address in Gundry Road at around 8pm yesterday, Wednesday 15 August 2018. He was reported missing at 4.15am today, Thursday 16 August 2018.

He is described as white, around five feet 11 inches tall and of slim build with very short brown hair. Alexander normally wears a hooded top and combat trousers.

Chief Inspector Lou Pope, of Dorset Police, said: “Alexander is believed to have been upset recently and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“We are carrying out a number of searches around the Bridport and West Bay area as we make every effort to locate him.

“I would also ask if anyone has any information as to Alexander’s whereabouts, or who sees a man matching his description, that they contact us immediately.

“Finally, I would like to make a direct plea to Alexander if you see this appeal to contact us or your family as we all want to ensure that you are safe and well.”
