Officers are appealing to the public to help them find a missing 77-year-old woman from Poole.

Brenda MacMurray is believed to have left her Royster Road home at around 3.45pm today, Sunday 9 June 2019, to take her white Jack Russell for a walk.

She is described as white, four feet 10 inches tall and has grey shoulder length hair. She was wearing a royal blue anorak and black trousers.

Chief Inspector Steve Yeoman, of Dorset Police, said: “Brenda can be easily confused and it is very unusual for her not to return after her dog walk.

“We believe Brenda may have been at Darbys Corner roundabout at 5.55pm. I would urge anyone who has seen Brenda or a woman matching the description given to please contact Dorset Police immediately.

“Officers are searching the area, assisted by the NPAS helicopter, in a bid to find Brenda.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Brenda’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 9:368.
