Officers are appealing for help from the public to find a man from Christchurch who has gone missing.

Jamie Davis, who is 30 years old, was last seen at around 2.30pm on Friday 10 January 2020 at an address on Stour Road. He left in a silver Ford Tourneo van with the registration number BG17 ZWU.

He was in contact with family and friends via messages at around 4pm when he seemed very upset.

Jamie is described as white, five feet nine inches tall with short brown hair, a beard and a moustache. He was last seen wearing a navy blue East Dorset Rugby Football Club jumper and khaki-coloured shorts.

Chief Inspector Claire Phillips, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Jamie and are carrying out a number of enquiries in a bid to locate him.

“I am appealing to anyone with knowledge as to his whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen Jamie’s silver van in the area.

“Finally, Jamie if you see this appeal, please get in touch with your family or us as we all want to ensure you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Jamie’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 10:239.
