Officers are appealing for the public’s help to find a man who has gone missing from Poole.

Simon Whitaker, 32, was last seen at an address in Cranbrook Road at 3am today, Friday 19 April 2019. He failed to arrive at work as expected this morning.

He is described as white, five feet five inches tall, of slim build and with black hair. It is unknown what he is wearing.

Officers have been carrying out searches for Simon but these have proved unsuccessful.

Chief Inspector Andy Edwards, of Dorset Police, said: “We know Simon has been upset recently and we are becoming increasingly concerned for him.

“I am issuing this appeal in the hope that someone might have seen Simon or a man matching the description given. I would urge anyone who may have seen him to please call Dorset Police.

“Finally, I would appeal directly to Simon to please make contact with us or your family. We are all very worried about you and simply want to know that you are safe.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Simon’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 19:176.
