Officers are appealing for help from the public to locate a man who has gone missing from Weymouth.

Richard Suter, 57, has been missing from his home in Court Road since 1pm on Saturday 24 April 2021 and has failed to get in touch with any relatives or friends since that time, which is very out of character.

He is described as white with a tanned complexion, five feet 10 inches tall and of medium build. He has grey hair and was wearing a grey fleece, blue jeans and grey Sketcher trainers with a white trim. He took an overcoat and a backpack with him.

Chief Inspector Derek McKerl, of Dorset Police, said: “It is completely unlike Richard to have gone for such a period of time without being in contact with anyone and we are becoming increasingly concerned for him.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have seen Richard, or a man matching the description given, to please contact Dorset Police immediately.

“Finally, if you see this appeal Richard – please make contact with us as we just want to ensure that you are OK.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Richard’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 25:258.
