Having grown from a school based broadband radio station (Arqiva award winning) AIR radio is about to take a massive step in its development – it has already set up AIR FM – a Community Interest Company registered with Companies House and will begin broacasting on FM in 2013.
It will provide local news and views – general interest and Arts programmes, music that concentrates on showcasing local talent, news from activity provders, support agencies and services in the local area – a Signposting Service to whatever you may need.
The next step is to raise money to erect the aerial and pay licence fees. With its intention af always providing best value, Air is taking advantage of the current offer from Local Giving’s ‘Grow your Tenner iniative – where charitable groups can get pound for pound funding!
