Reform UK’s James Orr Cannot Stop Lying on Question Time

What does an ideological lying charlatan look like in a suit? May I present James Orr of Reform UK.

James Orr is not a typical party apparatchik but a Cambridge academic whose rapid ascent inside Reform UK signals a deeper ideological project. An associate professor in the philosophy of religion, he was appointed the party’s head of policy in 2026 and had already been serving as a senior adviser to Nigel Farage. His role is not merely administrative; he is widely seen as one of the intellectual architects behind the party’s direction, helping to shape both its messaging and long-term platform.

Orr’s influence extends beyond Britain into a transatlantic conservative network. He has close links to figures associated with the American “New Right,” including JD Vance, and has been described as a key bridge between UK populism and US-style nationalist conservatism. His involvement with think tanks and organisations aligned with these ideas suggests a deliberate attempt to import and adapt ideological frameworks that critics argue are polarising and culturally divisive within a UK context.

His personal positions have also drawn significant criticism. Orr has expressed opposition to abortion in all circumstances and has been linked to strongly conservative views on social issues, including reported opposition to same-sex marriage. He has further courted controversy by describing asylum seekers as “invaders,” language that opponents say fuels hostility and undermines reasoned debate on immigration. Such statements have reinforced concerns that his influence could push Reform UK toward harder, more uncompromising stances.

Finally, Orr’s growing prominence highlights a broader strategic shift within Reform UK, from a protest movement into a party seeking ideological coherence and intellectual backing. By recruiting a figure embedded in academia, think tanks, and international conservative circles, the party appears to be investing in a more structured and philosophically driven agenda. Yet this evolution raises a fundamental question: whether Orr’s brand of “national conservatism” represents serious policy development or a repackaging of divisive ideas under a more academic veneer.

Let’s take a look at the lies he is telling to ensure his far-right ideology takes power.

Lie Number 2:

Just in case anyone is confused about who Orr is speaking on behalf of.

And if you do not believe Caroline Lucas.

The moment when Caroline Lucas reminds us of one of UKIP/Brexit Party/Reform UK’s biggest lies and Fiona Bruce does a Fiona Bruce.

And just in case anyone still thinks the Tories have any worth, I give you Helen Whately screeching like a banshee while talking absolute rubbish.
