Renewed Appeal For Man Missing In North Dorset

Officers are very pleased to confirm that a missing man from North Dorset has now been found.

Tim was reported missing on Thursday, 22 May 2025, having last been seen in West Stour.

Following extensive searches and enquiries, Tim has now been found. We would like to thank everyone who helped with sharing our appeal.

Officers searching for a missing man from North Dorset are renewing their appeal to locate him by issuing a CCTV image of his last known sighting.

Tim, aged 58, was reported missing, having last been seen at 8.50am on Thursday, 22 May 2025, at the Spar Riverside Garage in West Stour. He was travelling in a grey Volvo V50 estate with the registration number GK58 AHY.

Tim is described as five feet nine inches tall and of stocky build with a dark greying beard. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded jumper with paint on it, light-coloured trousers, white trainers and he had ear defenders with him.

Inspector Wes Green, of Dorset Police, said, “Our searches are continuing to try and locate Tim and we are renewing our appeal for information by issuing an image of the last known sighting of him at the Spar Riverside Garage in West Stour.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Tim or a man matching the description given to please come forward.

“I am also appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicle described in the area to please get in touch.

“Finally, if you see this appeal, Tim, please contact us or your family, as we all just want to make sure you are OK.”
