Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after a car window was shattered near Bere Regis.
The incident occurred at around 8.25am on Monday 15 March 2021 while the victim was driving along the A35 on the single carriageway between the Townsend roundabout and the Puddletown bypass. It is reported that the passenger side window of his car was shattered while he was driving.
The victim took his car to the garage to be repaired, where it was reported that a similar incident occurred involving another vehicle at the same location.
Police Community Support Investigator Sophie Jones, of Dorset Police, said: “At this stage, we do not know what caused the damage and I am appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and may have witnessed what happened to please get in touch.
“I would specifically like to speak to any motorists who have dashcam fitted to their vehicles and may have captured any relevant footage.
“Finally, I am really keen to hear from anyone else who has sustained damage to their vehicle in the same area and has not yet reported it to Dorset Police.”
