Robbery: Do You Know This Man?

Officers investigating a robbery in Bournemouth town centre are releasing CCTV images of three suspects.

At around 2am on Friday 25 May 2018 the victim, a local man aged in his 30s, was in Old Christchurch Road near to the Camel Bar when he was approached by another man.

The suspect repeatedly pushed the victim and shouted at him.

Members of the public tried to intervene by getting in between the victim and the suspect. As the victim attempted to walk away, the suspect chased after him. The suspect was joined by another two men and they threatened the victim with violence and demanded that he withdrew money from a cashpoint and hand it to them. At least £30 was taken.

The victim was not physically injured.

Police Constable Simon Shaw, of Dorset Police, said: “We have carried out a number of enquiries into this incident and have obtained CCTV footage.

“I am now in a position to release these images from the CCTV in the hope that someone might recognise the suspects pictured.

“I would urge anyone who knows who these men are to please contact Dorset Police.”
