Rural poverty

Following on from this issue which was surprisngly raised in last Sunday’s Observer, I suggest getting groups together around Dorset to discuss our problems which are ignored and completely misunderstood by the country especially the south east corner.

The south west generally continues to suffer inflated house prices and low wages. At a time when petrol prices are soaring and electrics and gas are set to rise Dorset residents like many others will struggle to make ends meet.

Anyone out there interested in joining forces and raising the profile of the rural poor?
