The former veterans’ minister Johnny Mercer has launched an extraordinary attack on Boris Johnson’s government, describing it as a “cesspit” and “the most distrustful, awful environment I’ve ever worked in”.
Whether you agree with him on the prosecution of service veterans or Afghanistan… this is an incredible insight in to the malevolence and ineptitude of the current government.
The public know that there is something very wrong going on but they will not all admit it. There are now so many examples that keeping count is beyond most. Here is one of the most recent.
One last thing. I am not fooled by Johnny Mercer. He is a Tory and as such is as untrustworthy as the rest of them
