Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a burglary at a residential property in Poole.

Between 7.45am and 6pm on Monday 16 January 2023 entry was gained to an address in Petersham Road.

It is reported that a safe was stolen from the property, which contained items of jewellery and cash.

Police Constable Kristian Budden, of Poole police, said: “Some of the items stolen were of sentimental value to the victims and we are doing all we can to locate them.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please get in touch.

“Also, I would ask motorists with a dashcam, or residents with home CCTV systems, to please check their footage for anything of relevance that occurred in the vicinity during the timeframe.”
