Sat in the front row spouting ignorant nonsense. Was this woman another Question Time plant?

Social media went mad about this woman. Across the political spectrum (apart from the far right) there was scepticism and/or condemnation.

The following twitter response was just a taste of how the anger at such ill informed opinion looked like a pre programme stitch up. Appeal to the lowest common denominator and/or keep Number 10 sweet appeared to many to be the objective/s.

Not only that but a ‘Londoner’ spouting in Weymouth? What was the aim? To make another seaside town look like a bunch of troglodytes? As soon as she admitted she worked in the capital she blew it. The producer was probably screaming profanities at the multiple screens.

Thankfully many of the British public had the good sense to see it for what it is. Dog whistle politics in a dog whistle age.

Update:

This woman has been identified as a far right Tommy Robison supporter

And the person responsible for selecting the audience as a far right sympathiser.

Whether this is the case or not the ‘coincidences’ are stacking up so high we will be light years from the Earth if we climbed them.
