Officers carrying out searches for a missing Portland man are appealing for information from the public to help find him.

Adam Self, aged 39, was last seen at his home address in Wakeham at around 9pm on Friday 22 January 2021. From enquiries, it is believed he left the address at around 3.45am on Saturday 23 January 2021.

Adam is described as white, five feet ten inches tall and of medium build and light ginger hair. It is believed he was wearing a black bomber jacket with a red Chinese motif on the left hand side and a dark-coloured hooded top underneath as well as dark denim jeans and black trainers.

Chief Inspector Matt Baxter, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Adam’s welfare, particularly since it is believed he left home without medication that he requires. We are keen to locate him as soon as possible to ensure he is all right.

“I would urge anyone with information as to Adam’s whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description given since the early hours of Saturday 23 January, to please contact us immediately.

“Finally, I would like to make a direct plea to Adam if you see this appeal – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are, as we all just want to check that you are safe.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Adam’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 23:305.
