Serious Injury Collision At Hengistbury Head Car Park

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage to get in touch following a serious injury collision in Bournemouth.

At around 7.45pm on Sunday 20 April 2025, it is reported that a collision occurred involving a black Suzuki motorbike and a white BMW 330 car at Hengistbury Head car park.

The motorbike rider – a man aged in his 20s from Oxfordshire – was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Road closures were put in place while enquiries were carried out at the scene.

Police Constable Paul Wilson, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened, and I am keen to speak to any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I understand there were a large number of people present at the time and would ask anyone who captured any relevant footage – either on a dashcam or mobile phone – to please get in touch.”
