The Esplanade in Weymouth has been closed following a road traffic collision between two buses.
Police were called at 10.37am today, Friday 30 September 2016, to reports of a collision between two single-decker buses registered to First Buses.
The road has been closed while emergency services deal with the incident. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
Both buses were carrying passengers at the time of the incident.
Two people have sustained serious injuries and are being taken to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester by ambulance for treatment. A number of other people are believed to have suffered minor injuries and are awaiting treatment.
