‘Instead of punishing him if they had any decency the Army should be standing in solidarity with Ahmed,this is outrageous to charge him for basically being human.’

‘Ahmed is exactly what we were brought up to believe soldiers were and what they were for. Good on him for standing up to be counted.’

‘Very brave young man. Sadly our arms industry is more important to the political class than the lives of the innocent, always has been & govts the world over would sooner kill their people than stop war & spend the cash on social improvements because they earn £ from arms.’
