Officers investigating the fraudulent use of credit cards in Bournemouth and Christchurch are issuing images of several people they would like to speak to.

Dorset Police received a report on Wednesday 1 July 2020 from a Bournemouth woman aged in her 50s that she had been made aware that two credit cards had been taken out in her name and used to purchase items, in stores in the Bournemouth and Christchurch areas as well as online, over the previous month. The total amount spent on the two cards was £12,000.

Police Community Support Investigator Chris Wilson, of Dorset Police, said: “These offences involved significant sums of money and we have been carrying out a detailed investigation to try and identify those responsible.

“We have reviewed CCTV footage from several stores where the cards were used and I am now issuing images of a number of people we would like to speak to as part of our enquiries.

“I would urge anyone with information as to their identity to please contact us.”
