So, on Monday, Cummings lied about his previous written warnings of coronavirus. Personally, I thought it was a pathetic thing to brag about, given that it is well known that a pandemic (especially a respiratory virus) has long been known (and well-documented) by our intelligence services and government as the number one threat to our country and economy. It’s the equivalent of Alan Shearer suggesting, now, that VAR might become quite unpopular with football supporters. Yeah, Well Done, Dom! Fucking genius! What a super-forecaster you are!
But then it turns out that he lied to us all on Monday! He hadn’t written about it at all. His blog post last March mentioned Ebola, but absolutely did not warn of any threat from a coronavirus.
It turns out that, presumably in an attempt to make himself look clever, Cummings edited his blog post to include mention of coronavirus on the evening of April 14th this year – the day he returned from the ‘birthday-fest’ up North.
Now, there’s been lots of conjecture about whether or not he should be sacked for breaking lockdown guidelines in multiple ways. To my mind, if the Prime Minister’s Special Advisor tells the public a lie, SHE/HE MUST GO! And with this action, he did exactly that!
It is typical of Cummings that he no doubt thought he’d get away with this particular lie! He clearly didn’t think anyone would check. He clearly takes the British public for mugs!
It is now PROVEN that the Prime Minister’s Special Advisor LIED to the British public. HE HAS TO GO!
