That is akin to receiving an Iron Cross from Hitler or Red Star Badge from Stalin.
What the hell is Brussels doing poking their Marxist, unwanted noses in to North Dorset affairs? More importantly, why would NDDC even consider accepting this empty accolade from a nasty, unelected, antidemocratic gang of mafia bully boys? I find the whole thing highly offensive. Like knows like perhaps, a big ‘you scratch my back….. ‘ excercise, keeping it in the family.
Grandiose terms like ‘community planning’ and ‘community led services’ are bandied about as if they are meaningful and worth anything.
The EU knows all about communites, nations too, they spend their time destroying and impoverishing them.
Brussels, NDDC and the Big Society Scam should stay out of our local affairs, we are perfectly able to get on with things and do it ourselves. Baroso, Van Rumpoy, Ashton et alia can stay well out of my back yard.
