South Dorset MP Lloyd Hatton has responded to the decision and made his feelings clear about Portland Port:
Whatever one thinks of how Keir Starmer’s Labour Party has gone about its first nine months in office, we must all unite in solidarity to defeat this monstrosity and put our political allegiances to one side.
Portland Port are all about the lucre. As Lloyd Hatton alludes to, if they had any consideration for local people, they would never have entertained this idea.
Get united and do not be divided!
