West Dorset has a new and exciting festival launching next weekend that will bring some of the nation’s best bands to Bredy Farm near Bridport.

Festival favorites Dub Pistols, Buster Shuffle and King Porter Stomp will be headlining the event and joined by local favourites such as The Skimmity Hitchers, Sam Green & The Midnight Heist and Shoot The Moon.

They will be joined by twenty acts in all, including Backbeat Sound System, Duncan Disorderly & The Scallywags, Worry Dolls, Dana Immanuel & The Stolen Band, King Tut’s Revenge, Imprints, Paper Trains, Bar Stool Preachers and more.

Festival Organiser Kevin Davis said; “SouthCider promises to be small and friendly – and is held at a beautiful location on the Jurassic coast. The emphasis of Southcider is on quality, original music and a relaxed, people-friendly atmosphere.”

“The festival boasts an excellent line-up of nationally and locally acclaimed musical acts, plus camping, camp fire and locally sourced food and drink. We’re really pleased to be able to secure Dub Pistols after playing The Glade at Glastonbury, whilst Buster Shuffle will be heading to Dorset straight from the “With Full Force” Ska festival in Germany.”

“Festival veterans and curious newcomers are all welcome!”

Tickets for SouthCider are an only £50 for the weekend and day tickets are also available. Tickets for under eighteens are half price and under 5’s are free.

The festival runs from Friday July 1st to Sunday July 3rd. For more information and tickets go to https://southciderfestival.com/ or email [email protected] for details.
