Question….. What is the difference between North Dorset District Council and Dick Turpin?

Answer…. Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask.

Here we go again for 2014 with yet another round of Coucil Tax increases. It appears that Deborah Croney and her crew on the ship of fools seem unable to grasp the basics of good housekeeping and mathematics.

Throughout the year they crow and pat themselves on the back about the savings made here, the cuts made there, all for the benefit of the taxpayers. Why are these savings never passed down the line to us?

Could it be because they just haven’t got a clue what they are doing? Or, morelike, are they just following a poltical agenda filtering down from Central Government?

Either way it is derisory. The pot holes get bigger, buildings become more delapidated but it’s all ok cos their fat salaries at the top are safe, along with their pensions and perks. The top echelons at Dorset Police are costing us all at least £250k per year by way of remunerarion for Martyn Underhill and Debbie Simpson and where are the real benefits?

We know what propaganda the Council pump out about where all this money is going and why it is needed but for sure it has to now be seriously questioned. The reality is that the whole thing is out of control, it is a gravy train and these people really need to be ousted and fast. Fair, honest and decent people are needed to run the show and it is up to the Dorset Electorate to rid us of these blood suckers when their time is up for re-election.
