The luring of two unarmed Greater Manchester Police officers to an address followed by their murder, in which a firearm and grenade were apparently used – takes the dangers that officers face to an all time high and the levels to which some criminals will stoop to an all time low.

On behalf of all Federated ranks in here in Dorset I send our condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of Fiona and Nicola.

We all feel your loss – two colleagues who left home to work an early turn shift this morning who will tragically not now be coming home.

RIP

Clive Chamberlain
Chairman
Dorset police Federation
