Mayor, Cllr. Jon Orrell, said, “I was honoured to be involved in the decision-making for which charities and organisations will be represented during this year’s Jubilee Clock Light Up Scheme. The clock is one of Weymouth’s outstanding attractions, drawing many visitors and is the subject of numerous photographs. We hope that lighting this landmark up in different colours will raise awareness of the great work carried out by each charity or organisation. Weymouth Town Council will also light the clock red, white, and blue to commemorate VE Day on 8th May.”
