Officers are appealing for help from the public to find a man who has gone missing from a Weymouth holiday park.

Robert Hillier, aged 47 and who is also known as Jamie, was reported missing from the Haven holiday park in Preston Road at 8.43pm on Saturday 19 June 2021.

He is described as white, five feet eight inches tall, of slim build and with short greying hair. He was last seen wearing a polo shirt with pink, grey, blue and white horizontal stripes, dark-coloured jeans and dark-coloured trainers with a white sole.

Chief Inspector Matt Baxter, of Dorset Police, said: “Robert left the holiday park suddenly and has not been seen or heard from since. We are becoming increasingly concerned for him and searches have been underway in Weymouth and Southampton where he lives, but these have so far been unsuccessful.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Robert, or a man matching the description given, to please contact Dorset Police.

“Finally, I would appeal directly to Robert – if you see this, please get in touch as we are all worried about you and just want to check you are safe.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Robert’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 19:657.
