Officers investigating an assault in Beaminster are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

At approximately 9.30pm on Friday 25 November 2022 a group of teenagers were in the Memorial Fields car park in Hogshill Street when a black SUV pulled up.

It is reported that three men – who were in possession of bottles – got out of the car and attacked the group.

The men are described as white and well built. One was described as aged in his 30s, short, bald and was wearing a T-shirt and jeans. A second man was described as tall with short cropped black hair and was wearing glasses.

The vehicle was being driven by a white woman aged either in her 30s or 40s with curly blonde hair.

During the incident, a nearby car had its windscreen smashed by a bottle.

Police Constable Dan White, of West Dorset police, said: “This was an unprovoked attack and our investigation is ongoing to identify those responsible.

“I have now gained accounts from the victims and am in a position to appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information about what happened to please come forward.”
