Drewsons Building Maintenance assisted Highcliffe Castle in ensuring that it was business as usual over their busy summer period.

As part of pre-enabling work on the next phase of the listed building’s refurbishment the Castle staff needed their offices moved out of the construction area within the Castle.

Work included constructing new temporary offices, meeting rooms, chair stores, kitchen facilities and bar store within the existing building ensuring great care was taken not to damage it.

Drewsons Building Maintenance employed the services of its other companies Drewlec Electrical Services and Drewsons Mechanical Services to undertake the specialist elements of the works on this fast track project completed to tight deadlines.

Richard Drewitt, managing director of The Drewitt Group, commented: “We’ve worked with Highcliffe Castle in the past and as it is such a spectacular building we’re honoured to be a part of the ongoing restoration. We wish them the best of luck on the rest of the work planned”

Drewsons Building Maintenance is a subsidiary of James Drewitt & Son Ltd and provides all types of building maintenance, planned maintenance and response repairs to the commercial, industrial and retail sectors across the Wessex Region.
