This could be satire and it could be the most honest advert you will ever see. Whichever when the hammer falls it does not take a genius who will be crushed. Us.

Any democracy has a duty to expose the reality otherwise we cannot choose from a position of enlightenment. If those in control prevent us it is not a democracy and we should stop pretending it is.
