“In the NEC on Tuesday 17th July, I spoke in support of the decision to confirm the adoption of the Code of Conduct on antisemitism and to reopen development of the code in consultation with Jewish community organisations. Some of what I said has been misquoted or misrepresented.
But I accept that what I did say, and the way I said it, fell short of the requirement, which I accept, for discussions of contentious issues to be conducted in a fully civil and respectful way.
I deeply apologise for any offence caused to those present and those to whom my remarks were reported. I believe that the whole NEC sincerely wants a way forward that works for all sides and hope that the process of consultation and development of the Code will achieve that, and I look forward to participating in future discussions in the spirit of comradeship and mutual respect that should be the hallmark of our Party.”
We now know that the anti semitism issue in the Labour party, although a substantial issue, is nothing compared with the hate and lies being flouted by the right wing Labour and Tory MP’s; the Jewish Board of Deputies; the Friends of Zionism (Israel) and the corporate media. For a while we weren’t sure and then the box fell out of the cupboard.
From the alt right wing pseudo media like Guido Fawkes to the trolls and agent provocateurs spread across the mainstream we now know for sure that they are promoting and repeating lie after lie as they have an agenda that needs neo liberalism to survive and flourish (at our expense) and for Israel’s legitimacy to be protected from any likely future challenge (i.e. Mr Corbyn). The assault is to take an issue that although a problem has to be turned in to a crisis. By repeating the lies over and over they protect their interests (mostly financial) and deplete ours.
As this insightful piece clearly demonstrates this attack is party political not principled.

There is now so much evidence that we are being had that the fact that the assault continues merely reveals how desperate and anti democratic these people are. They are verging on fascism with their Goebbelesque propaganda.
They are a disgrace. Unfortunately they are a British disgrace with Machiavellian blood running through their veins.
