This video exposes something much more sinister than its initial message. This is the depth of systematic conditioning (yes – brainwashing) that people are subjected to by a drip-feed media, that is making uncritical drips of us all.
Over 80% of the UK media at large is owned by a small handful of Western tax-avoiding Oligarchs (yes we have them too) who don’t live in Britain and have affiliations and loyalties elsewhere, including interests in the countries they report on – such as Rupert Murdoch’s oil interests in Syria (which would be greatly expanded if only President Assad were to be deposed).
These ‘news’ reports include the following inaccurate statements — all of which many people firmly believe, but when asked to give hard evidence to support these beliefs, they can only answer: well, it just FEELS right:
01. “Corbyn is a Marxist and a danger to the country.”
02. “The BBC is a mostly unbiased and truthful organisation.”
03. “Leaving the EU is beneficial for the country.”
04. “Russia is a belligerent country intent on world domination.”
05. “Putin is an ex-KGB tyrant who murders his opposition.”
06. “Immigrants are taking over the UK.”
07. “Immigrants come here and drain all our benefits.”
08. “Immigrants come here and take all our jobs.”
07. “The EU makes up all our laws.”
08. “Russia is a homophobic country.”
09. “Russian athletes systematically cheat and take performance drugs.”
10. “President Assad of Syria is a tyrant and kills his own people.”
11. “People on benefits are scroungers.”
12. “Muslims are terrorists.”
13. “Poor people are poor because they are lazy.”
14. “Wealthy people are more intelligent and capable.”
15. “RT… Canary… AAV… SOTT… Dorset Eye are all propaganda / fake news.”
There is well-documented evidence that says each one of these is either a total fallacy, or so hugely exaggerated from the comparative ‘norm’ (e.g. America is no less homophobic than Russia) so as to serve someone else’s purpose. But many people will just ignore the evidence and say: ‘Well, I hear what you’re saying… but it just doesn’t FEEL right.’
It doesn’t feel right, simply because there’s been a highly sophisticated multi-billion-dollar media drip-feed campaign working on you and your friends (who you chat with down the pub) for decades to MAKE IT NOT FEEL RIGHT.
There is truth in the saying that it’s easier to fool somebody, than it is to convince them they have been fooled – and it’s making drips of all of us.
