After a decade of Conservative government, you might expect the Prime Minister to be able to reel off countless achievements and promise much more to come.
There was none of this in Boris Johnson’s Conservative party conference speech. He promised only to remove our human rights and to attack those who defend the law.
He also said that those who do good are the enemy. This was the speech of a tyrant, not a prime minister.
