Great musician and by all accounts a great person. Tragically he died young. However, he was stunningly perceptive and assertive as he shows here by well and truly nailing Tony Blair’s rhetorical coffin shut.

And if a song summed up our current times then this must surely be up there.

As George and many of us would agree we don’t have to let the system and its puppets kill us. We can make life count.

We can grab it for ourselves and break free from the cage:
