Officers investigating a theft in Poole and subsequent fraudulent use of bank cards in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of two men they would like to identify.

The victim – an elderly man – went shopping in Sainsbury’s in Alder Road at around 11.30am on Thursday 16 December 2021. When he returned home, he realised his wallet had been stolen.

A quantity of cash was withdrawn using the bank card at Sainsbury’s.

It was further reported that bank cards within the wallet were attempted to be used in shops in Bournemouth town centre.

Police Community Support Investigator Kate Hann, of Dorset Police, said: “Following my initial enquiries, I have obtained CCTV images of two men I would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who recognises them to please get in touch as soon as possible.”
