Officers investigating the theft of a wallet in Wimborne and subsequent fraudulent card use are issuing CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to.

The victim’s wallet was stolen from their vehicle, which had been parked in a driveway in East Borough at around 3pm on Tuesday 1 September 2020.

Bank cards that had been in the wallet were subsequently used to carry out a number of transactions, including in the Wimborne and Poole areas.

Police Community Support Investigator Kate Hann, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this matter and have examined CCTV footage from a number of locations where the victim’s card is reported to have been used.

“I am now releasing images of two men I would like to speak to as part of our investigation and would urge anyone with information as to their identity to please contact us.”
