BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg was tonight named Journalist of the Year at the Press Gazette British Journalism Awards, sponsored by Heineken.
She picked up the top prize because, the judges said: “In a tumultuous year she rose to the challenge and made the story of Brexit her own.” (PressGazette)
No it’s not a joke or satire but the true state of the MSM news coverage. Perhaps we need our own instead – one that that does not make us laugh and cry at the same time for very different reasons.
