Officers investigating an assault that left a woman with a fractured arm in Bournemouth are issuing an image of a man they would like to speak to.

Between 5.15pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday 4 August 2021 the victim – a local woman aged in her 20s – was in the beer garden of The Grove Tavern on Southbourne Grove when the man she was with became involved in an altercation with a group of people.

Following the altercation, it is reported that a man from the group pushed the victim, causing her to fall onto the floor. She attended hospital for treatment and it was discovered that she had a fractured arm.

Detective Constable Nicky Sharpe, of Bournemouth CID, said: “Our investigation into this incident is continuing and we have been carrying out a number of enquiries to locate the man.

“I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to and would urge anyone with information about his identity to please come forward.”
