This Song Will Be Played Long After Trump Is Dead

The US political system is a cesspit of corruption and lies. The choices are not choices unless one likes having a red hot iron shoved up one’s back passage. It is a system run by the ultra rich for the ultra rich, with no intention of ever being a functioning democracy for all.

Donald Trump, behaves like a python, squeezing the life out of truth and decency. However, he is a distraction. A decent politician would have been silenced by now. However, it suits the system to have a monster lurching about. Give the people a monster as an alternative. Do not give them someone who will actually threaten the status quo. Just pretend it will.

If the US was an isolationist state, that merely crapped on their own, it would be of little interest. The problem with the US is that it has a longish history of digging a trench for crap to be placed in. Crapping in it and then looking for the applause for covering the crap with topsoil.

Whoever runs the system from the shadows determines it. The facade of a president is just to create an illusion. Kennedy learnt the hard way not to buck the system. If the corporations want war and the super criminals want control; that is what they will have.

Trump will be dead in a relatively short time but the reality of him will last much longer. However, the system he was chosen by will not seek to exorcise his ghost until the time they choose. He will continue to serve a purpose for them. Not for the public and not for decency.
