Officers investigating the theft of three mobility scooters from an address in Ferndown are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

At around 12.20am on Thursday 30 May 2024, three male suspects gained access to a garage in Ringwood Road and made off with the three mobility scooters.

Two of the scooters were subsequently located later that morning nearby in Carroll Avenue and the third was later found in Ford Lane.

Police Constable Rhianna Sly, of East Dorset police, said: “Thankfully we have now recovered all three of the scooters that were stolen, but they had been damaged and our enquiries to locate those responsible remain ongoing.

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of Ringwood Road and Trickett’s Cross during the early hours of Thursday 30 May 2024 to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from any residents who have captured any home CCTV or doorbell camera footage that might assist our investigation, or motorists with relevant dashcam footage.”
