First up Alastair Campbell.
Some may be surprised to see him here but he is undoubtedly what the Tories used to call a ‘Wet’. Not complete fascists and nearer the centre than their psychopathic colleagues. However, given that he helped manipulate the UK in to a murderous war that is still killing Iraqi children some may disagree with that description. Fair point!
Then comes the arch Remainer and all round European, Michael Heseltine, who has seen his predictions about Boris Johnson played out almost to the letter over the last four years.
And finally Anna Soubry who left the nest when Boris Johnson and his Machiavellian gang started culling any MP who thought differently from them.
All three have helped to destroy the country in their own ways but they are too conceited to see it. However, the king of conceit has left the building, at least for the moment.
Will all our problems go away now that Johnson has stepped aside? Of course not. Just like all those who believed the UK would get better once the country left the EU. It is because we are all so powerless when it comes to influencing the establishment that many cling on to self delusions and myths. The country became the victim of those who pandered to lies. Until we return to the facts, tumbling in to the abyss will continue to be the norm.
