If Corbyn had won the election, his first act as PM would have been to house the homeless over Christmas & winter, whilst organizing something more permanent & funding support services/drug addiction help/mental health services in the meantime.
Having a no deal Brexit was more important to the people of the UK.
That is such a depressing thought, especially at Christmas. Our country is so heartless and selfish. No wonder mental health services are so stretched and everyone’s so f**king depressed and the suicide rate keeps climbing. No one connects that stuff to government policy – which is insane.
If our taxes had gone towards helping the less fortunate this Christmas, it would have been cathartic for the nation. Much needed in our view.
But instead our taxes are going towards making more rich selfish assholes members of the already bloated and bulging House of Lords.
