A man reported missing earlier this week has sadly been found deceased.
John, aged 63, was last seen on Browning Avenue at approximately 8.30pm on Monday, 21 July 2025. Concerns were raised when he failed to return home, prompting a search and public appeals for information regarding his whereabouts.
On the evening of Wednesday, 23 July 2025, the body of a man was discovered in the area. Although formal identification has not yet taken place, the body is believed to be that of John. His next of kin have been informed.
Police have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious, and HM Coroner has been notified.
A spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with John’s family and loved ones at this extremely difficult time.”
