Officers searching for a missing man from Purbeck have very sadly found a body.
Gary Frampton, aged 54, was last seen in Church Knowle at around 1.45pm on Saturday 29 October 2022.
Following searches by officers, assisted by Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR) and Wessex 4×4 Rescue, the body of a man was located during the afternoon of Sunday 30 October 2022.
While formal identification has not yet taken place, the body is believed to be that of Gary Frampton and his family has been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner has been notified.
