Officers searching for a missing man believed to be in Swanage have very sadly found a body.



At around 12.05pm on Friday 13 September 2024, officers sadly located the body of a man near to Old Harry Rocks.

While formal identification has not yet taken place, it is believed to be a missing man who was last seen at around 1pm on Thursday 12 September 2024 and was likely to be in the Swanage area.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and next of kin have been informed. Our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
