Wayne Wigley, aged 64, was reported as missing, having last been seen leaving an address in the Chickerell area on the morning of Friday, 14 February 2025.
At around 9.50am on Sunday, 16 February 2025, officers carrying out searches located the body of a man in the Wareham area.
While the body has yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be Wayne’s, and his family has been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Our thoughts are with Wayne’s loved ones at this extremely difficult time.
