Two men have been charged and are due to appear in court after officers executed two coordinated drugs warrants in the Ferndown area.
On the morning of Friday 10 April 2026, officers from the local neighbourhood policing team, supported by the Force Support Group (FSG), executed warrants under section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act at two adjoining addresses in the area of Ringwood Road in Longham.
Two men were arrested and 112 suspected cannabis plants as well as further quantities of suspected cannabis were reportedly located within the addresses.
Dorset County CID is now leading the investigation and the two suspects – a 38-year-old man from Bournemouth and a 27-year-old man from Ferndown – have been charged with being concerned in the supply and production of a class B drug. They are due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13 April 2026.
Detective Inspector Rich Barnett, of Dorset County CID, said: “We are committed to taking positive action in response to reports of drug related activity in our communities.
“We are indebted to members of the public for supplying information and intelligence and would urge anyone with information relating to suspected drug offences to please report it to us.”
