Two men lose consciouness following attack in bar in Bournemouth

Officers investigating two assaults at a bar in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of the suspect.

It was reported that at around 12.20am on Sunday 25 July 2021 two men were assaulted at The Brass Haus in Westover Road. Both victims were reportedly hit around the head from behind, causing them to fall and lose consciousness.

A man aged in his 20s sustained a broken jaw and a man aged in his 30s suffered a minor head injury.

Police Constable Millie Price, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate these assaults and we have obtained CCTV images of the suspect.

“We have made efforts to identify this individual, but they have so far proved unsuccessful.

“I am now issuing the images to the public in the hope that someone might recognise him. I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please come forward.”
