After Nasty Farage they went for Dick Braine as leader. Now they have chosen a gammon for mayoral candidate and it is still over four months until April Fools.
What next? Ms Fascist Tendencies? Ivor Goosestep? Hermann Boring? Laurence Fox? None of them would surprise.
This is supposed to be satire but one wonders if UKIP know what that is.
Given everything that is now occurring in this mad, mad, mad world the aim of surprise is almost beyond reach.
